Welcome to the Vagolis Solar Farm website.

Our DCO application, which is one of DCO solar project developed by EDF Renewables in the UK, was submitted in February 2021 following 12 months of engagement and consultation with stakeholders and communities.

Capable of providing enough clean, secure energy to power over 120,000 homes every year, Vagolis will make an important contribution to the  Uk and Nigerian future energy mix.

We have also kick-start a programme of research to look at the positive impacts large-scale solar farms can have on biodiversity and wildlife in the UK and Nigeria. The research will tie into Vagolis plans and commitments to deliver substantial biodiversity enhancements through habitat restoration and management.
